Sadly, Louise passed away in 2025. She had been painting since 1965.
She was a multi-media artist and worked in watercolors, acrylics, oils, and inks.
She had authored 24 painting instruction books showcasing her portrait, floral, landscape, and still life designs, and had also published a coloring book.
Throughout her career, she had been featured on the cover and in the pages of numerous magazines. She was a signature member of the Dayton Painters and Sculptors, the Western Ohio Watercolor Society, and was a master decorative artist with the Society of Decorative Painters. She had also served as a judge and had been the recipient of the Dedicated Service Award.
Add to that, Louise was a featured artist on several T.V. shows. Her work is showcased in many private and corporate collections and is on display at the Decorative Arts Collection Museum in Wichita, Kansas, and the Smithsonian.
Louise enjoyed teaching throughout the United States and in Italy, Japan, Canada, and Argentina.
