If you have ever wanted to learn how to paint a rose, a glass vase, or even lace, you will love this video lesson. Louise shows you step-by-step the process for painting a single long stem burgundy rose that is in water in a green glass vase. The vase is set on a piece of white lace that allows the background color to show through the intricate design.

In this video lesson you will learn how to create:

What can I expect in this video lesson?

In this particular lesson, you will be given two different line drawings that you can use to create your own painting. The original painting, pictured on the left, is not a standard size and will require a custom frame and mat.

To make it easier for you, Louise has created a second line drawing so that the painting is a standard size and will use a standard size frame and mat. This is the painting she will create in the video but her instructions will help you recreate the original.

Louise's calm teaching style will allow you to relax and enjoy your painting journey. She'll share over 50 years of painting experience with you giving detailed explanations of each step of the painting process.
